Bad Luck
Bad Luck
I stayed at my wooden cabin near the marsh during the summer. It was hot and I was boring, excused and nothing to do. For the previous weeks I’d worked for the shipping company. Now it was closed until another season. I found a book, just had a look at it, browsed pages and at last I threw it over the desk. After that I stood up and crawled to kitchen, Wondered if I could find something to eat, Opened the fridge and remember that it’d been broken. In it were nothing but expired food.
“Oh, God-dammit”, I said. I found dried bread, took it and backed to my torn couch and started sucking it and tried to remember how much my life was better before I was born.
In that time, I heard a noise. Air condition stopped working and it was the last thing I really needed. I stared at it for a while, got furious and threw my dried bread to it. While my bread was flying toward the air condition, I just got regretted.
A bit after I was thinking that I was jobless, my fridge had broken, my air condition stopped working and the last thing I cared about and I had was my dried bread which lied on the ground and was spread.
It was the time I said, “Oh Crap!”
